I guess it wasn't meant to be...

At only 4 weeks we had to say goodbye.

I knew I was pregnant, my boobs had exploded, was throwing up.
I'd just become excited was about to break it to DP that we had a little surprise.

Unfortunately, I started bleeding on Saturday, horrible cramps and all my pregnancy symptoms are gone. I've also passed a few clots.

I don't know how to grieve for this little one. I want to. I'm devastated.

    shhh on FB.

I feel heartbroken. I was so excited.
    Its been a hard day.

Thanks ladies. DP knows, he's upset but he's under alot of stress at the moment and I hoped that this baby would give him something positive to focus on.
Unfortunately, not. He's been good and giving me lots of hugs.

I hoped that I would never have to post in here. It just sucks and it hurts badly. I had just gotten my head around the fact that I was pregnant and now its been taken away. I keep thinking of the lyrics from one of my favourite albums. "Grief crippled me, the Reaper cheated me. Left me yearning for the path I'd come to adore."
That song is actually about a true story. The lead singer got his girlfriend pregnant and was scared. By the time he got excited and was ready, she lost the baby during the second trimester.

I know I was only 4 weeks, but...

    I feel ripped off.

Thanks again for all your hugs and support. I'm gonna need some hugs for the next little while, I think.

Sorry to hear of your loss I went for my first scan 2 weeks ago would of been 13 weeks but sadly the heartbeat stopped at 9 wks 2 days, words cannot describe how we felt, sadly I didnt pass naturally and Wednesday (would of been 15 weeks) I was taken into hospital given taken and experienced labour pains, I passed a small amount but had to be taken down yesterday for a d&c, woke up crying and couldnt believe I was no longer pregnant, family friends and the hospital midwife and team has been amazing and hopefully with their love and support me and my partner will get through this. You have to grieve, scream, shout, cry do what you feel will help you and hopefully for us both we may have good news again soon . Take care
