You should be entering the world now... but you are not. My belly should be big and beautiful and full of the promise of your life. But it is flabby and empty.

You taught me what it is to truly love... and the devestating heartbreak of loss.
You taught me true joy... and complete heartbreak.

Caterpillar, thank you for the lessons you taught me. Thank you for that brief period of time we had together.
