    New to This site

    Hi All,

I'm new to this site and just though i'd introced myself and tell my story. I'm shannon, 23, Dp Shane,23. We now have a beautiful 4 1/2 month old Olivia, She also has a older sister Mackenzie who lost her battle with a CHD (Transpostion, ASD & VSD) during surgery at 2 months of age. I went into labour with Olivia pretty much exactly 1 year after Mackenzie passed away and Olivia is Born 1 year and 1 day later!

Mackenzie's Heart Condition was missed at her 20week scan and only picked up at 34wks as she was measuring small. She was born at 37wks after a 2hour labour only just making it to hospital in time. She was transfer straight to a different hospital so we spent the firsat 24hours apart. We spent the next couple of Months in and out of hospital as she failed to gain weight. They actually managed to correct her heart but she passed away due to a bleed when taking her off bypass...which till this day they have no idea where it came from and what caused it.

Olivia Pregnancy was stressful and she hasnt been the easiest baby (Colic/Reflux, refused to BF at 2 1/2 months, and refuses to sleep - But shes so worth it!
