hard to deal with.

I married my DH in September 2006, fell pregnant in January 2007 only to find out at the 12 us that our baby had a serious neural tube defect. Unfortunately, terminated by D&C in April 2007.

TTC from May 2007 to January 2008, when I was diagnosed with PCOS. I had long and inconsistent cycles, hence my diagnosis. After the diagnosis I lost 20kgs due to the risk of type 2 diabetes and am now a healthy weight. My cycles came back to 28-33 days with metformin 500mg.

I started clomid 50mg in March 2009 as the metformin on its own didn't seem to do much. Yeh! I was pregnant only to naturally miscarriage at 6 weeks.

Took the second round of clomid 50mg in July 2009 and fell pregnant again. I had an early us at 6 weeks and was told not to panic but there wasn't quite as much amniotic fluid around the baby as they would like. I was told to come back in 1 week to check it out. I went back and found out the baby had no heartbeat. Devastation.

My DH and I contemplated seeing the Miscarriage Management Clinic at Sydney IVF to try and find out why this was happening. My OB has suggested that we try once more and if the next pregnancy fails to then see them.

I just took my 3rd round of clomid 50mg in November 2009 and got AF late December. Am now onto my 4th round late December 2009. Hope this is the one!

This is such a long road. I feel like my whole life is consumed by this mess. DH and I are holidaying os in late February. I will be glad to get away considering I keep putting my life on hold.
