The furniture arrived two days ago and the head board of the bed is damages and has to be replaced GRRRRR. I was hoping to have the room set up by now. They have said it will take two weeks for the replacement to be shipped to us. Just have to wait, not much else I can do.
On a positive note, our agency has confirmed that our paperwork is in the Sydney office. Our CW is heading down there next week so she is going to follow it up and find out what is going on.
Waiting waiting and more waiting. I guess it is better that it takes longer as we don’t have a bed to put her in anyway.
Well it is official; we are approved to be a foster parent for a little girl aged between 2-3 years of age. The final paper work needs to be completed but I think that is just a formality.
Now the wait begins for a placement.
We are feeling really excited and can’t wait for it to all begin.
I'm curious to see if you have you DD yet? I've very much enjoyed reading your posts so far. We start our PC process in January so any info or good advice you may have would be greatly appreciated.
Yep still waiting. I got an email from our case worker today and she said that our name had been mentioned a few times in the last few weeks. She said we are at the top of the list now.
