Shades I was first year intake ACU Melb this year.
I managed to get my full time load on three days bar one lecture at 8am on a monday morning - that said that lecture was recorded so it worked out.
That will all depend on how quickly you pick your tutes etc.
They release the timetables early so you can start looking once you accept your offer, normally there are a few changes by the time timetabling opens.
But you can have a fair idea and hope you get in early and get the ones you want.
If you don't, then reduce to part time...

ETA: also with regards to placement - in melbourne this year it is 2 x 2week blocks or 1x4week block starting from yesterday and depending on the level of students continuing until end january. These are full time placements. Flexi-placements may be available in 2nd or 3rd year depending on their hospital agreements.
The follow through journey program is very time demanding and many of the girls i still talk to have really struggled to get through with work commitments etc. as long as you have a solid support base you should be right
