    Hello all!

I rung around on Friday and it seems for me ACU will prob be the best one - all though its a fair drive! but in the end that dosent bother me - im determined this time to not let anything stand in my way of acheiving my dream!

Sara - guess what i have in my hot little hands? yep the HOMES section from the paper - just gotta send it too u now

3GirlsOnly - hmmm from my phone calls it looks like i might have to study a science (yuck) or get a dipolma as my certs arnt enough points (if u know what that means)
so and Adult Tertiary Prep thru TAFE sounds good to me - can u do a science? and can u recommend any? i hated science at school - so something thats interesting wld be needed hehehe - maybe biology or something? what do u think?

Mrs T - can u do any sciences thru CQU?

sconeonamission - u could always go to ACU also however like me it would be a bit of a drive for you also!

    Hi Ladies!

Thanks for that info Mrs T!

Harmony - Thanks heaps hun! I really do appreciate your helping me. So are you going to apply for this year or not? Did you ask ACU if they do mid year entry into Mid?

I found a nice place I might be interested in. Its in Bracken Ridge. Will that be close to you? Its $270 but thats the cheapest 3brm place I could find in range of the uni. Its only a Massionette but its nice.

    Rhianon - Where are you?

Sara - no worries - u have been helping me heaps too remember!
do u still want the House section of paper sent to u?
Bracken ridge unfortunally is no where near me!
Not going to apply until next year - looks like i might have to do some study before hand like a science or something!

Who knows there could be something better in there!

    Thanks again.

Yeh spending a year preparing is a good idea. I have had 3 years to prepare! So now I am ready to just get on with it!

    WIST

Hello Mrs T, i am patiently waiting the arrival of my WIST program. I saw you post some while ago and was wondering how you are finding it. I am a 'non school leaver' hoping to get into the 2010 Bach of Midwif intake at ACU!!!! Got along way to go, PCA and a STAT and have chosen to do the WIST to soften the grey matter if nothing else. I have been waiting now for over 2 weeks to receive all my study 'stuff' but I'm egging to crack on... I look forward to hearing you opinion on it all....

Hi everyone. I have just applied with QTAC to do B Mid at ACU next year! I am feeling excited about it, even though I have a looong wait to find out if I got in or not. I have already done 6 subjects in a Bachelor of Nursing at another uni, so I am hoping I can get credit for some of them. The thought of doing midwifery next year is exciting, even though I have enjoyed nursing, midwifery was always what I wanted to do. Plus being an on-campus student will be good - I was studying externally, and it was good being able to do it all at home - not having to worry about child care and everything - but I like the thought of having face to face contact with the teachers and other students.
Those who are at ACU - how is it going?
