I'm not going to the Southern Cross uni info day as the travelling and daylight savings and trimesters won't work with my DD starting school . However I was really impressed with them as a Uni!
DOes anyone know how long the national police check takes to get processed?
Who's waiting anxiously for the 3rd of dec for the early round offers??????
Mamasupha, I didn't even think about daylight saving . Anyway, I'm going along to check it out. Griffith is still my first preference though.
How awesome would it be to get a early offer on the 3rd December. I don't think I'll get one either though, apparently it's only for certain exceptional applicants and I don't quite think I'm exceptional enough
hj, when do you think you'll give Bianca a sibling/ Will you wait til after your degree?
I wish we could find out how many people have applied to get into BMid or at least if they've already worked out the approx rank/OP cutoffs based on the current applications.
I am thinking the same thing re: having another baby. I'm in 2 minds of whether to try this month and if i get a BFP I'll defer uni if I get in or if I don't get preg this coming cycle I think I'll just start uni then try to time having a bub maybe over the xmas break next year or some time in the 2nd year so bub is due after clincials have finished for the year etc. I wonder if being heavily preg would impact on the clinicals as in if the uni would have restrictions once you reached 36 weeks.
All of my friends are getting UTD at the moment (about 6 of them) which is making me very clucky. But then again if I put off getting preg myself I know I've already got a few willing follow-throughs up my sleave for next year
Will anyone else be working part time as well as studying?
There will be a OP/ranking cut off for this intake. it's just because its a new course it isn't known yet. it just depends on how many applicants there were and what their rank/OP was, and that will determine what it will be.
