i am sure that you have a few possibilities. the first step i would recommend is to contact universities that you would like to study part-time through and explain your situation (that you are accepted into the UTAS course but need to go part-time etc) and see what they can offer for mid-year enrolment. once you are in the system (no matter what uni!) it is easier to transfer etc to other courses.

If it looks like it might take some time to find a uni to transfer to, then defer your course at UTAS for a semester and use that time to negotiate with a new uni. it can be done! it does take a bit of footwork in that you have to ring around, but it is possible!

i would recommend AGAINST dropping it altogether as there are possibilities, and it is much easier to do once you have a spot somewhere ITMS.
