I always got mine from amazon (I didn't discover the book depository until after uni). Even paying postage it was a lot cheaper than buying them here. I know I probably should have bought them locally, but during 7 years of study I saved hundreds of dollars.
I know you've got your books now, but I use the Co-Op Bookshop to get most of my books. I payed a $20 membership and that entitles me to member discounts for as long as I need to buy textbooks. I saved well over $100 on my last order.
Thank you for all of the tips. I wont get my text lists until Feb 21 (first week) but I am already thinkign of ways to try and save on them.
I know i will want them, and probably want to keep a lot as I am a) a hoarder and b) will highlight the crap out of anything!!
