You can usually change preferances late - ring up the Maquarie peeps.
Or what Rufalina said. You can probably use the classes for credit - you have to take classes outside your major anyway....
Yeah I agree with ruf, they'll usually let you change preferences, as long as the offers for that course haven't come out yet (generally January for Sem 1 2009), there might be a fee though you'll have to check on uac.
If not you can always log on to Macquarie Uni website, see what subjects you'd have to take, and try to take subjects at the uni you are enrolled in now that will be able to transefer over for credit. You could also contact Macquarie and ask for some advice on what subjects to take at the uni you're at now that would be able to be transeferred over. Student services should be able to help.
Thanks girls. I think I will ring Macquarie today and discuss my options with them. I suspect they will have a mid-session intake and hopefully I can get into that if I can't get into for the Feb 09 session.
At CSU I chose a major in Sociology because I could combine that later on with a post grad in Anthropology. Macquarie offer a major in Anthropology so I'm better off not starting at CSU and transferring. I'd rather wait for Macquarie.
I'll let you know how I go later today. Thanks for your posts everyone - I feel a bit calmer now!
