I started doing a BAchelor of Social Science when DS was almost 2... it was hard, I managed to keep up with the weekly assignments and readings etc.. but when it came to essay time i was a bit overwhelmed trying to do it all.. DS inly slept for an hour or two during the day- and was horrible to get to sleep at night.. so i was tired alot!!!!
I constantly felt like i was chasing my tail and just didnt have the whole balance of it all working for me lol When i was studying i felt like i should have been doing house work, when i was doing house work i felt like i should have been studying - and the whole time i felt like i needed to sleep lol!!! I fell pregnant again and ended up stopping the course with the intention of going back to it one day! The funny thing is that DD would have been perfect to have on her own and study with. She was a great sleeper (still is!!) and i think it would have been easier if DS was a better sleeper!!

Good luck with it!! I think its a great thing to do while the kids are young.. using Day care would help a lot, even just for one day a week!! I would just say- dont stress if it takes you longer than you thought it would, and dont try to do too many units at once!!!!!!!!

I finishing my B.Ed online. To be honest I'm a terrible student! I have been reading my text book some days while feeding my son then I usually spit out my assignments in a mad panicked weekend before it's due and my H looks after the kids while I'm locked in the bedroom!
