buying new text books every semester here also!
i wonder if you are asked to get the same books as i had too?
If so i can suggest to you which ones were good and which ones not so good!
I have a few books still
Navigating the maze of Nursing research 2E I am happy to get rid of *shudders*
I imagine they would be fairly similar if not the same!
This year so far is
Stables & Rankin Physiology in Childbearing
Fraser & Cooper Myles textbook for Midwives
Martini & Nath Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology
Barkway Psychology for Health Professionals
Liamputtong Research Methods in Health: Foundations for Evidence Based Practice
Kosier & Erbs Fundamentals in Nursing
& one other Mid one that I cant remember because I cant find the list!
I also bought the little Mid Essentials one (spiral A6?? notepad thing)
Fortunately I think I only have major nursing subjects this year so hopefully wont need anymore, but i will keep it in mind
Sam and Indadhanu: I am glad education texts aren't as costly as health!!
Im pretty sure its a second semester one, I think middies were in with us
awesome *rolls eyes*
thanks xx
Yep i have all of them! except you have Myles i got Mayes!
Stables & Rankin Physiology in Childbearing - Good book used it a fair bit
Martini & Nath Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology - Fantastic book - used it all year (don't need it anymore tho) did you get the set with the CD? its pretty good!
Barkway Psychology for Health Professionals - Boooooooring - Hardly used it
Liamputtong Research Methods in Health: Foundations for Evidence Based Practice - once again boring and hardly used
I find it hard to read books if they are boring and these too were (i thought so anyway) so i didn't read them and still some how managed a Distinction on both subjects!
Kosier & Erbs Fundamentals in Nursing- not a bad book - good for getting your reference list up in assignments
I also have Skills for Midwifery Practice and i love it!
"I also bought the little Mid Essentials one (spiral A6?? notepad thing)" - very good and handy to have!
