    CT fit. Help please

    Hi all

We are new to MCN (ds has his first mcn on today ) and the first mcn we bought to try is a cushie tushi. i put it on ds today and im a little concerned about the fit but not sure if this is normal for MCN. He is 11kg and is quite a tall baby and im a bit concerned about the rise. The front of the nappy comes up probably about 1.5cm below his belly button. Is that too low? His sposies usually sit higher but again im not sure if this is just how the ct fits. I really like the ct, fits well around his legs and plenty of snaps left to grow into. I had a bit of an issue with gaping at the front but seemed to fix that by tightening the nappy. I dont want to go crazy on this nappy though if it doesn't fit properly even if they are really gorgeous (im a sucker for such things). Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

All my DDs nappies sit below her belly button and it's not an issue. I'm not a fan of CTs though bc we get mega leg gape here and it seems like the elastic has gone in all of them after only a couple of months.

I like BBH magicalls, and also itti bittis (but they have a low rise so maybe not good for you?). But my absolute fav now are Genesa Forge side snappers.

I have an itti bitti coming in the post so will see how that fits. DS is quite solid so dont have the gaping problem with the CT. The rise is fine for now but im just concerned if he grows too quickly in the trunk they wont fit. His growth has slowed down now so prob wont be a prob.

Yeah my DD is very chubby, esp her thighs, so I think it's that the elastic is gone!! The itti bitti's are great though, hope you like them!!

you will probably find the itti are heaps lover in the rise than CT's but thats normal too. I find a low rise can become a problem if you have a tummy sleeper but that can be rectified by doubling a booster at the front for nap time.

for starting cloth. There are so many brands out there, have fun trying them all and getting lots of fluffy mail!

DS is a tummy sleep so thank you for the tip. I only have 1 itti bitti coming so will see how we go.

Any suggestions on higher rise nappies to try?
