Mountain Mummy, I also get sooooo excited when I have fluffy mail on the way. Am not looking forward to the day when my stash is complete :-(

And in reference to the idiot who planted your clothes line under a tree: it might be a blesing in disguise. If nappies (or any other item of clothing) dry a little slower in the shade, they tend to be a bit softer. wind helps soften them a little, too. And you don't need full sun for sanitation either. It's alright if it's indirect light.
