    Who uses Green Kids MCNs??

I am umming and ahhhing over getting a 'pack' of MCN's. I am currently using the old square terry towelling nappies and am thinking I would like the MCN's but really the only thing that is holding me back is the $$ to get started.

What are the Green Kids MCN's like??

    TIA

I don't have any green kids but have looked at them. They look good. Similar to the Peapods I think. I have some peapods & like them as my going out nappies.

I mostly have home made fitted nappies.

If you get on to Buy for baby thats a good auction site for 2nd hand MCN. Be a cheap way to start off your stash of MCNs.

I totally looooove my GreenKids too, they are pocket nappies (not AIO's) and IMO they work heaps better than the PeaPods (which are also pretty good).

I've got GreenKids as part of my original stash, and they are the only ones' that still look like brand new, most of my others' look pretty well used nowadays.

    I agree...

greenkids are the best...have been using them since Jay was 3 months old (and he is now 16months) and they still look just as great the day I got them

a few have lost a bit of the elasticity in the top of the nappy (which does not affect their performance at all) which is prob from lots of hot washes, and I do have to change him at least 2-3 hrly so he doesnt soak thru

no stains, still have fantastic colour (I got bright orange, white and periwinkle)

    but they are great!

I have greenkids - they are great, never had a problem with them at all. But I have to say my overall fav's are the bumgenius!

I've got 8 Greenkids pockets, and they are absolutely my most favourite nappy (although my BumGenius AIO's come a very close second). DH loves them too, and I like that the absorbency of the GreenKids can be boosted for overnight using one of their microfibre boosters, as well as the regular hemp insert. Out of all my nappies, they are the ones that have retained their 'new' look the longest. The patterned ones aren't as absorbent as the plain colours (different PUL I think), but they'll still do a couple of hours no worries.

The GKs are well used in our household. They are the first DH grabs as they are the easiest to use and put on (including to stuff as well). Definitely worth the money.

However, my savings are going towards the new one-sized Hautes that are coming in the next week or two - can't WAIT!!!

I've got a few Funtimes and I love them. Anna's right, they're pockets, not AIO's, which is better in some ways, cos you can stuff them depending on how your child is wetting.

The Funtimes are on sale right now at GreenKids, don't know when it ends, but if you wanted to try one, now isn't a bad time to get one!

I have to say I agree, I love my green kids pockets too. Everythings the girls have said I agree with, and I will look at getting some more when I need to boost my stash when bub number 2 arrives.

Personally I find it a toss up between greenkids and bumgenius - both are great

I have just started using cloth and liked the look and design of green kids, so I bought a 12 pack and I absolutely love them!!! I am using them on my 6 week old son and havent had any leaks so far. Very happy with them.
