Opinions on cushie tushie

If you are new to cloth nappies, just get one to start with and see if it suits your bub. Nothing worse than stocking up on ones that just don't fit right or aren't absorbent enough.

I don't use them - they don't suit my kids shape here, and definitely not absorbent enough

I use cushie tushies & love them but as arimeh said, it depends on your childs shape whether they'll suit or not (makes it hard to prepare I know)

Not a huge fan of CT here - they leg opening was too wide for my DS, so they're more likely to leak. Also, they wouldn't suit big wetters. I do like their designs though .

I bought the same pack b4 DD2 was born, i've since sold all of the nappies, they'd only last about an hour on her, so definelty not absorbant enough! and some of them desintergrated after only a few wears

Tried them, hated them, swapped them for something else. I certainly agree with not sticking all your eggs in one basket until you know what suits bub.

Depends what age they are For newborn stage, I always go the prefolds/covers option - just cos newborn nappies are sooo expensive, and they aren't in them for very long and OSFM nappies don't fit very well at that age.

Then I usually go into something like a dragonfly magik (OSFM) or widdlewun (sized) because we use sidesnapping nappies in this house - front snapping and velcro nappies just don't suit us unfortunately!

BBH (baby beehinds) make up most of my stash here, they're quite bulky & take a while to dry but I like them in general. They are sized, I only bought one sz small (newborn) & it sisnt last long, the rest are sz medium & have lasted since DS was about 2 months old & he's still wearing them now (26 months old)

I use itti bitti, issy bear, baby beehinds bamboo fitted and fluffy bubs

Don't suit my DD either. She'd flood through them in 1 hour ish and the shape was so wrong, mega wing droop/leakage/poo bombs.... I also had a lot of issues with them otherwise

ETA: Abby Gro are a one sized option too and seem to suit my Princess Piddles no matter what stage of growth she is (E.G fat before a spurt or scrawny after.)

We have a couple of the couture, and I don't find them too bad

My DS was 4 weeks premmie & so didn't fit into any mcn until he was about 9 weeks old... I used the prefolds/covers like Arimeh suggested, and it was perfect!

The cushie tushies are definately not a shape all bubs fit into well... My DS is now 5 and a half months and has only been wearing his ones for a few weeks.
He is generally a heavy wetter, so I tend to only put it on him around the house in case of leakage

My fave nappy is the Pop In Dream Dri by Close Parent. Super easy to use & I have found them to be as good as any disposable as far as no leaks go.
I bought one of lots of different types when I was pregnant before I bought a big stash... a few other brands have been good enough to use, but not good enough to buy more of, a few I have given away.... but the Pop Ins are the ones I ended up buying a huge stash of and we pretty much just use them the whole time now
