can avocado make me sick

I guess you can be allergic to anything really & I have heard of people who can't have avacardo.

Would hate it if it was me, I luurrrvee avacardo!

Avocado is high in salycilites(sp?) so it can cause adverse reactions if you have too much. Sometimes its just an over abundance of it that can cause a reaction, or you could become allergic to it as well. Same as bananas.

I think I'm developing an allergy to avocado, everytime I have it lately my lips swell and itch like mad. Its terrible as I used to eat it daily.

My friends sister is allergic to avocado and will vomit if she eats anything with avocado in it so yes it is possible.

Well, avo is toxic for animals (dogs/cats) and birds .... so I would believe that you can have a reaction to avo.

Bummer for you thought ... I lurve my avo toasties!!
