I just hope we never, ever have to use ours - My son has severe nut allergy and we have EpiPens at school, home and after school care. I wondered how much it would hurt, but in reality after the severe reaction he had last Christmas in which the only thing that really saved him was vomiting - he was so scared I don't think he would care how much it hurt for 10 seconds - as long as he could breathe. That's what I would need to focus on too.
Pray we never have to use it.
Tan - as a teacher - what happens when the allergic kid goes on excursions - are their Epipens carried in a first aid kit or similar? This question only dawned on me last week when they were going out ... dumb I know ...
