    Easter for diabetic kids

As some of you are aware I have 2 children with Type 1 diabetes and I'm wondering what to do for them this Easter to still make it special iykwim. They can have a little bit of normal chocolate but not to much obviously. I don't want them or the other kids to miss out so what ideas do you ladies have????

Just a thought...But perhaps you could get some sugar free chocolate, melt it down and put it into egg molds.

If you dont want to go to the hassle, most chocolate shops have diabetic Easter eggs. You may even be able to order some treats online??

    Thanks ladies.

Olive - I will have to check out Woolies. I seem to look everywhere but find nothing and obviously my kids can't be the only diabetics in the country. Just wish the companies took them into consideration when promoting Easter
