I used to make savoury muffins and got bored! But that maybe a good idea.

So if I were to put pikelets in a lunch box... how would they go... hmmmmm I dunno.

    Our staples atm are:

    carrot sticks
    rice crackers (plain ones)
    hummous
mini wheats (only if she doesn't have a sandwich... we are on a low wheat soon to be no wheat diet)
corn cruskits (only ones with no milk powder ) with a smear of vegemite

We are avoiding sugar atm as well *groan*. Have I mentioned how much I loathe food intolerances atm??? So I'm trying hard to minimise our biscuits, slices, etc... but its soooo hard. Matilda has a definate intolerance to apple juice, so I can't use that to sweeten anything. Dh is convinced she has a fructose intolerance, but I'm not so sure. I know she can drink a glass of limonaide happily, but a glass of apple juice will send her to the fairies for 24 hours.

Christy - i sit possible that there is sucrose in the limonade, and fructose in the apple juice?
I was going to ask what type of sugar you are avoiding - possibly treacle or honey are options to sweeten things?

You can also get milk now that has the lactose removed for those with lactose intolerance, think it is called Zymil. Can get it at safeway.

Limey - We switch between Zymil and the Liddells one depending on price. We are sporadic with milk use so we get UHT.
