    Thank you Barney & ZF.

I wouldn't have known about being popular if you hadn't told me ZF it was a fleeting moment.

Yules, there is a +Fav above the photo, click on that and you've Fav'd the photo.

    How cool!
I'm slowly working out how to use the editing program on my computer that came with my camera, lol.
Wish I had the creativity of some of you! Have decided I'm going to go more random. Do the weekly thing I think...

I don't think it tells you thought if someone has chosen your pic as a fave, only the ones you've picked
I didn't know until someone commented on my pic either CBG

Clover.. i have downloaded GIMP but haven't used it yet... haven't edited any of my pics (except adding writing) really need to work it all out

The one for yesterday (that I only just uploaded) is the only one I've edited so far. Just thought I'd try it out & found out I have an air brush tool etc.
I cropped & changed from B&W to sepia. Nothing major.

I have a panorama stitching tool, so might try that out today...

ZF, that was me that commented on your pic re: popular page.

If you view your pic, there are stats on the right i.e how many have viewed and if it's been fav'd.

I've also started tagging CB's pics.

Congrats Zarava Flutterby and CharlieBrownGirl for making the popular page!! Well done, they are really beautiful photos.

Re editing - I don't have any editing software except for whats in Windows and Picasa, and as I'm doing this to improve my camera skills I don't usually like to do anything to my photos except maybe a crop or change to b&w.

    Really loving this so far

Gorgeous photos ZF & CBG! In fact, I am loving everyones photos!

I downloaded Gimp as well. Seems to be quite good! So I'm tending to switch between that and Picnik for cropping and changing to BW etc.

Well done zf and cbg! Well deserved recognition for great shots.

I tried to download GIMP too, but got a bit confused with the instructions for putting it on a Mac - anyone done it? So far I've just been using iPhoto and until yesterday all I'd done was crop, but I really want to learn more about editing through doing this so I started to play around yesterday and was quite pleased with the result. I had Photoshop on my pc but that broke and I keep debating whether to just pay for the software on the Mac. I should really try GIMP first if it's free though. I think I saw picnik on AppStore for Mac too for $100 or so.

Mind if I join? I'm on my phone at the moment, but when I get home I'll link my blog.. I won't use the 365 project page specifically cos I already kinda half started on my blog anyway lol. I'll be using my iPhone camera, too lazy to find my cord for the digital camera, and a little to hard to develop film everyday :P (even tho I have about 8 film cameras at last count lol hoarding much?)

No theme for me, just want to document my year I guess.

Everyones photos are great, can't wait to have a better look on my lappy later!

    Welcome Sibbie.

    Everyones photos are awesome.
I'm hopeless with ideas. I might try doing a theme each week, like a colour or something... do you think that'll help any?

If you go to the Picnik website, it's free to do basic stuff like cropping, some filters, resizing, etc. It's done through the website so no need to download any apps, just upload the pic you want to edit.

Picnik is great! I used it for the editing of Blooming Bromelia's.
I also like to make collages of the animals and plants from the garden.
