I had to take Ds1 for school shoes today , something he hates so not much time for photos , managed to grab my DD walking to school though

Thanks hun your such a caring and giving person.. i can still use the camera on my old phone and transfer across, it's just a matter of finding the time b/w trying to keep the invalid comfy and the kids OFF him and doing all my housework etc.:
It's like having 3 kids, only i have to make sure the other 2 don't attack the biggest one.. he's been really good about it all though, the house is a BOMB and i think he knows i'm as stressed as he is.
We will get through, gotta smile and know it COULD have been worse.
hi ladies, havent been able to get any pics the last few days, its been so hot here! df got himself a new phone so has borrowed my sim while he works it out and gets a new card for himself, he did say that i could get some good shots with the camera on his phone, i took one look at the thing, and well now i know how my grandma feels when she was given a new phone!:rofl:

I've started a fb page, due to peoples suggestions that I should do something with my pics. I hope it doesn't look like I think my photos are better than they are or anything. I had the idea of personalising some of my better photos with text.. I'm yet to get it right so it looks professional, but I'm working on it. Have a look, and please like if you like. Thanks girls :)

I like bokeh too, but I've only tried it three times now. Hoping to do more of it soon. It's been in my head to make a page for my safari pics after the feedback I got so I've now done it. Obviously I'm not professional by any means, just loving photography :):

Jewel & Clover - thank you, I felt like a bit of an idiot making the page (still do a little bit, I'm so not a 'look at me type' person, just the opposite really), so reading your nice comments is really lovely.
I used a filler for the first time today, just so tired, and with lots of things going on today and a uni assignment to do I didn't think I'd have time, and didn't want the distraction of thinking about it. Hopefully the last filler :)

I just booked myself into Angie Baxters 'Love Your Camera' course - she is travelling around Australia doing 1 day workshops, I CANT WAIT!!! I have been waiting for her to come back to Adelaide since I got my camera back in Sept. OMIGOD I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED, I use auto way to much and I need the confidence (and skill) to use manual, this will teach me (among a million other things)

Well would you believe it, drove all the way to the T-Shop and got there and the iPhone started working again :wall: so lost EVERYTHING off it but it's working again now :wall:
Got some pics at the airport today and on the way home (saw a friend off to sydney) so might fiddle tonight and get today's pic :)

If i had to ask for another they would have sent it back and it's over a weeks wait, they wont just replace it, if it gets to Apple and there is no fault i can be charged for the service fee.
will see how we go, am restoring what was backed up on the PC, not sure how much i will get back, not sure if my pics were saved.

Just want to say congrats to everyone who started on Jan 1, for making it to month 2!! Well done us!
I'm loving everyones photos, and I'm making more of an effort to comment when I see a photo instead of leaving it for later, as I often don't make it back. And I've noticed now that we have a whole month behind us a new button has popped up on the side, flashback.. seems it is there to just pick a random photo from a previous month.
Has anyone else noticed any kind of theme with pics you've 'faved'? Now I've got a few faved, most of them kind of 'go together' if you know what I mean.. lots of darkish, high contrast, strong colours and backgrounds, bold images in mine :)
Bec, I can't believe a whole month has gone by. It's been a good distraction from TTC'ing TWWs.
I've noticed the flashback on the side and thought it was connected to FB, Blogging etc... Those icons popped up when I clicked on Flashback. I'll have to try tomorrow.
In terms of fav'ing a photo, I have access to 365 at work (the only social network site, it must not have popped up on the firewall) but I can't comment, only Fav. So I Fav, cause I really like it and hope to come home and comment but that doesn't always happen. I've averaged two Fav's per day. I'm on the phone so I can't look for a pattern but I'll do that later. Sometimes I Fav so I can refer to the manual settings used on a pic and use that to improve my skills.
Just uploaded yesterdays and todays. I was lucky with todays pic - noticed some dragonflys doing their thang on the pond and managed to get a few shots. I soooo wish I had a macro lens!
