ZF - I'm the wrong sex for the place :)
ZF - I have an iphone app called 'touch of colour' its pretty cool :)
Here is yesterdays and todays :)
Back later, its 40 degrees here today so DS is bored as its too hot to go outside so we are about to do some puzzles :)
Naomi - it's so hot here too.. we are staying inside with the air con on.
I quickly made a dash outside earlier to get my photo for today
My water baby made both popular and new faces at the same time :)
Took the girls out to use the shell pool, was fiddling with retro camera again so i might use one of those pics :)
Will upload later, am cooking orange & chicken salad for tea :p yum off to marinade my chicken.
Wow. I've got loads to catch up on.
My last three have been added now :)
Wow everyones shots are AMAZING.. am living them.
Mine for TODAY
Appt at the hospital for DP tomorrow, fingers crossed it's not as bad as we think and i can get him out of my hair, house looks like a bomb has hit it and he himself said it's like i have 3 kids :p
Gonna add a photo I took while we were down at the beach today - No editing done to it at all too - I just love it :)
Mine is boring today, but it was a total amazing feeling knowing I have work clothes that aren't shared with my normal wardrobe!
ZF - *giggle* at least your DP admits it. Hope he's OK soon xx
There's some beautiful work today.
Here's my today's effort, and I also had a bash at another WWYD2 entry. Mostly because I was bored whilst feeding DD to sleep. There's also another version of today's photo which I really like, so I stuck it on an unused date at the start of January. I love the softness and vulnerability in his face, but I prefer the lines in the original one. I also did a hack job retouching the vegemite smears from around his mouth, I couldn't do it properly in Photoshop because I was doing it one-handed so I did it in Lightroom. It's not bad for basic heal/clone corrections but it's not as precise as Photoshop.
Suse i ove your pics.. your extremely talented... :loveshower:
Sopdet, not boring - Love it! What a nice work wardrobe :D
suse! some stunning pictures!!
there are a few of you girls that could be making a living outta this, ya know?
Already have mine up for today
Don't like how fast my girls are growing up, but LOVE the peace & quiet in my house today!!!
ok girls the last 3 days are up ;)http://365project.org/lisavella/365
http://365project.org/lisavella/365/2011-01-30
and yes i still cant figure out the url thing! god im having a brain freeze
I totally agree!!!:
Love the photo and I'm thinking the same thing about the peace and quiet. The no fighting and whatnot. It's so nice.:
Hope you enjoy your day!
Not sure how anyone has explained it but I'll try and give it a go for ya.:
[url= "url goes here"]Type what you want the link to be called here [/ url]
You have to take out the spaces in the brackets parts.
So there should be no spaces between the = and "url goes here". Then no spaces between the / and the url at the end.
I hope that makes sense. I'm so sorry if it's confusing. I'm not that great with words and explaining.
I have no idea what I'm going to take a photo of today.
xox
:) aww you girls are all taking beautiful photos..its hard keeping up but its also a lot of fun :)
ZF -picsay have a free version and a paid version.. Not much difference between the 2 :D
I was wondering why lots of people had started following me.. Its because my ducky picture made it to new faces AND the popular page! Yay! I guess it is my fav pic so far :)
ok i am going to give up if it doesnt work now
Fixed it for you Lisa ;)
My Little man is a bit crook today so I've stayed home from work, he has a chesty cough, although he's not too bad, he's too sick for child care!
Anyway, when I was tidying up in the bathroom earlier he was 'using' the potty - hehehehehe
Namoi - I love it!! Haha so cute. Hope your little man feels better soon.
Wow I have not one but two pics on the popular page! I know, I said I'm just doing this for myself and that I'd never be a crowd pleaser but it's a nice feeling to be recognised :) I didn't even think there was anything special about the flower photo when I took it, I thought the sun was a bit too glary but people seem to like it :)
Thanks Sarah :)
I'm usually really good with this stuff but eh :)
Bec & Tali - Congrats on the popular page!!!!
MummyNaomi - I'm loving the expression your DS has in your photo. I hope he's feeling better with his cough soon.
My photo from today is of my boy blowing bubbles in the water when we were all having a splash this afternoon after school.
Turned out alright, I think. :)
Jewel - I like it. Lovely clarity. I love your dominoes shot too :)
Here's today's 'effort'. Apart from the bokeh, it's not really a creative shot, it's just some nappies that I made. But I like to document my sewing work, so by the time I'd shot these I didn't have time for another shot today.
I'm hoping to get the tripod out tomorrow if DD has a decent sleep. But I just got a new sewing machine so I'm vacillating between the camera and the sewing machine. Not sure which one will win out tomorrow LOL.
Suse - Thanks. I really love your nappy photo. I think it's creative. I'm just wondering about the bokeh part, is the effect created with photoshop (or whatever program you may use)?
I'm not that up with all the stuff so it may sound like a silly question, sorry.
Good luck for tomorrow with whichever you choose - sewing machine or tripod. :p
You wont believe it ladies, what a s#!t day we've had, DP has done his ankle and needs an op = no work no pay then my BRAND NEW iPhone 4 seems to have died, screen went weird, changed to the apple screen and then NOTHING.. keeps doing it :wall:
I just want to :crying:
So chances are no news pics AGAIN, might be finding some fillers, living everyone elses pics though.
well I tried to do some artsy fartsy shots of bibs and nappy flats on the line (I have a "chucker" hence much of the aforementioned washing)... but hmm was just meh. So just went with a slightly too fuzzy shot of bubba girl that would have looked better with a bit of photoshopping I think... but I"m knackered & bed is calling - so it shall just have to do!
Suse - I'm expecting to see a pic of a sewing machine lol
EDIT: oh ZF so sorry to hear it! Does plugging your iphone into PC help it? Or I think there's a re-set function s'where, have u tried that? And that's such a bummer re DP's ankle, you poor things
Oh, ZF! I'm so sorry!
I hope your DH can get back to work ASAP.
That's strange about your phone. Have you updated or done anything on iTunes lately?
Jewel - not a silly question at all. Bokeh refers to the effect you get when shooting with a very short depth of field (low aperture number). It refers specifically to the blurry bits, and the term also covers the type of bokeh a particular lens can achieve (good bokeh has rounded, soft edges - scattered light will refract as blurred circles.). Although you can simulate bokeh in photoshop, most of the time it's easier to do it in-camera. This was shot with my 100mm macro lens on a short to medium aperture (about 7.1 I think), and the bokeh was courtesy of a gum tree outside of my kids' bedroom window with the light shining through it. Although it was actually edited in photoshop - I was happy with the bokeh in one shot but preferred the angle and depth of field on the nappies in another, so I deep-etched the product and dropped in the bokeh from a different shot.
ZF - sorry to hear about your DP and your iPhone. I hope both get better soon
Ahh k. Thank you for taking the time to explain it to me.
ZF - I'm so so sorry about everything.
