Funny you should say that, we did craft at the library this morning and DD2 has upgraded from eating crayons to eating glue.
DD1 has never really tried eating it though, luckily.

I had a fleeting moment of inspiration for todays pic when it started raining. Too bad it looks like its stopping now, it's so hot here!

ugh. I'm very uninspired tonight. Will someone speak muse-like words of wise inspiration? (no pressure mind... )

*in mystical, hushed tones, with eyes rolling back in head in true muse-like fashion* Tonight I see for you light and shadow, the flicker of candlelight, something old and treasured yet shabby and well worn. *back to normal voice now*. Does that work for ya?

Awesome Suse - thanks! Consider yourself hired as my official muse! Pic here...
Honestly I didn't WANT to take anything from my day (one of THOSE days) so this was really fun & lovely (and totally nothing to do with 2yo tantrums OR re-settling baby gurrrls who think sleep is just so not cool). AND it made me light my oilburner & put some lovely scented oils on... perfect for a frazzled friday night glued to a hot kitchen sink!

Belfie - that looks brilliant! I'm glad I mused good and gave you some relaxing inspiration xx. Oh, and what is it with baby girls called Annika who don't want to sleep. My miss A is also channelling that particular vibe - gah, my eyeballs are popping.

Will figure something out, something that means a lot to me.

I tried some candle pics and wasn't happy at all, nothing stood out so while uploading the best of the crappola DD1 says look mum rainbow.. and outside i see THIS.... i knew it was him guiding me.
We have always said he was the brightest star in the sky but also that he watches us from above ALWAYS so i think it's very fitting, he's brightening our evening only this time with his smile

    Lovely tribute ZF

And going from the sublime and meaningful to the atrociously flippant - mine is a duck's bottom. Literally. And some random photoshop fun.

ZF - wow that is such a beautiful tribute. I had to wipe away the tears before I commented on it, he was so young.. and such a beautiful smile x

My photo for today is further evidence that I am going stir-crazy because of sleep deprivation. I wanted to take a photo of another apron I made, a child sized one that is too small for me to model so I hung it from the ceiling fan to get a photo of it hanging in the light. Don't ask why, but then I switched it on, and between dodging flying apron strings I ended up with a heart shaped abstract that apparently has been mistaken for a freaky eye by at least one person.

I managed to get a pic of my cat today, he moves so quick its always a blur. Pretty happy with his pic today.
Yesterday's was a sneaky shot of my DH and Lachie asleep on the lounge... Dh always tells me he didn't fall asleep, just resting his eyelids.
