We just had a night in at a hotel for DP's birthday, so I uploaded a filler that I took on Friday. Haven't had a chance to catch up with others' shots yet - will do so tonight whilst Miss Miss is feeding to sleep.

365 upload - boy was it yummy cooked.

Sooooo, HERE is a very VERY rough practice shoot of the box shots I was talking about the other day. (or checkout my FB page if you have me) I put together the box (an expedit book shelf casing from IKEA) and then threw DS in there with no pants, bad lighting and without centering where I shot from, just cos I wanted to get a feel for how it might turn out...
So now I need to...
- Get the lighting right
- Dress DS appropriately
- Use my tripod for a consistent centred shot
- Take a million pics so I can then pick EXACTLY the right ones to use
- Then edit them seamlessly together

My gorgeous clever little princess Ava made me a cake this morning, she put all the ingredients in the bowl, she did the mixing herself (only let me 'help' when it was getting heavy but refused to take her hands off the beater) she helped mix the icing and put the sprinkles on.
My HAPPY BIRTHDAY is a bit crooked as she had to help me do that too
So the greatest birthday gift for me this year is just having my 2 gorgeous girls and DP to share it with, bring on tomorrow.. gifts or not i don't care.

I have worked all weekend so have just managed to take a few random shots. the irst of our very wornout puppy and the second of my little ratbag.
One thing good about working weekends is he is waiting for me when i get home with a face full of cheek normally but I adore his eyes. Both my boys have lovely blue eyes.

aah nothing too tricky for me tonight - it's bedtime so what I've got is what'll do!
Does anyone else feel a paranoid,and dare I say it, fanatical... bordering on obsessional need to only upload a picture that they've taken THAT VERY DAY? I've stuck to this slavishly so far, and at times it has resulted in some pretty poor pics (or just plain old happy snaps) going up... but I feel... erm...... that i have to do it this way. Am I the only obsessional fool?
(and yes I know there have been instances of equipment failure for folks and I don't think any less of anyone else for not doing it btw)

God Yes, so far I have been very true to the photo a day and have taken a new photo EVERY SINGLE DAY and I hope to keep this up for the whole project, it's like I feel this passion to maintain the integrity of my 365 IYKWIM? I took a kitchen picture today, it's lame, but Bailey raided the fridge which made me laugh so thats all that matters

Yes hugely. Evidenced by the awful self portrait I took in a hotel mirror at a crazy hour, and the one I took of the clock at 11:45pm the other day. Some days I upload the next day though, but they are photos from the correct date. Except for one time, I can't remember the reason but I uploaded a filler, it was a safari pic of an elephant.. I made it very obvious it was a filler, and the next day I went as far as recreating the shot with a toy elephantDoes anyone else feel a paranoid,and dare I say it, fanatical... bordering on obsessional need to only upload a picture that they've taken THAT VERY DAY?
