Morning Inspiration - can you guess what this is?
Yesterday - not a great pic, was too busy trying not to be attacked by paint ridden children.

Keep up the great work everyone, am loving the pics.

Belfie - i love your latest pic, soo cute.

CBG - hope all is good hun, were here if you need us.

So i am trying to think outside the box with this MORNING stuff, will stay away from sunrises unless i find an absolutely stunning one.
Have been swapping b/w my phone and camera still, am loving the effects on LomoLomo and a few other apps on my iPhone and my camera seems a bit odd taking some shots inside, might have to test it outside on a flower or something at some stage this week.

I have finally uploaded my latest ones.

I have a question should I be editing my photos? I kinda like raw photos but it seems everyone edits theirs?

Boomba, you should just do whatever works for you hun. I usually only do a few very basic edits, because I don't know how to do anything more, but that's something I want to learn more about. It's your project and it can be whatever you want it to be, edited, unedited, all taken with your phone, or using a top of the range dslr with all the latest gadgets.

Oh Boomba I don't edit mine at all! I just use slackarse apps on the iphone that make it look like I'm way clever
I tried to use GIMP for the first time last night and couldn't do what i wanted at all, ran out of time & posted it as was... fuzzy & dark!

Now there was a morning theme, and I've just checked today's pic ...11.51am! HAHAHAHAA I made it! And on a self-congratulatory note lol geez I love my backyard! Mum is here helping out & between us we're catching up on heaps of stuff (while DH sick) so it's nice to have it looking good

Boomba - If you want to edit them, you can. I sometimes do some editing, sometimes not. Most of the time I just add a thin border around my photos cause I like it like that. If I don't even add a border then I couldn't be bothered that day cause I'm a bit lazy like that. So just do whatever you feel like. Lovin' your photos btw.

ZF - You've had some great ideas for thinking outside the box. Way to go! Was the boiling water photo hard to capture?! Was the steam getting in the way?

I better go upload my latest ones so I don't get behind again.

Do what works for you hun, majority of mine aren't edited but lately have used a few iPhone apps. Today's was not edited at all.

The pic this morning wasn't as hard as I thought, used the camera tried a couple of angles and it seemed to work. Steam wasn't an issue as I zoomed in and took the pic from an angle not above.

Got some cute pics tonight but am not home so will have to upload tomorrow.

Hi y'all! Haven't posted for a bit - sorry. Am in one of my 'head up own bum' kinda phases - nothing wrong, just have my head up my bum. Have been stalking though.

Have just started a new album - abstractions. Will probably make it the 'default' album seeing that's what I'm mostly doing, but will still keep the 365 album going for 'normal' photos (well, as normal as you're ever likely to get from me anyway). It features my first two water / bubble shots. Although if I want to be pedantic, one of them is laundry liquid.

    Here and here and here.

And here and here are my last two 365 shots. I'm thinking of backdating the abstraction album with all of my other abstract stuff so that it's all in the one album.

Finally got my butt into gear and uploaded yesterdays and todays. Here and There.

Suse - Your macros amaze me. I think they're GREAT first attempts at water and bubbles.

I'll do tomorrows 'Morning' shot as today we are off to pick up DH from the airport so hoping to get a nice piccie there

Here are a few pics from the past few days Here and Here

Had another go at the box shots but DS wasn't interested so only got a few, but I think what I will do is rather than rely on consistent lighting, instead I will edit the images so I am cutting the 'inside of the box' and paste it onto a white background so my frames are all a nice even white and flow together and I can use the photoshop out of bound effect if there are feet etc hanging 'outside' of the box if that makes sense - more processing than I was hoping for but I want it to look seamless

    my pic for today here
is nothing fantastic in fact its rather plain.
This is a tool I have to use every morning at the moment to widen my DD's expander each day.
The expander is on the roof of her mouth and is used to try and widen her top jaw before braces are put on, its not a nice job but one I have to do every morning for the next month.
