Hi all.

Have been soo busy, and I have a pile of photos to put up and I popped in to have a look at the thread your referring to. What a pack of tossers. Surely the sites big enough that if they don't like something- dont look!

basically all of my pics are just taken with my phone, and are things that make me think of things ... or things which remind me or something else ... or things that I think look nice ... or things that caught my eye ...

I'm not a great photographer, but the project isn't about being a great photographer. it's about whatever you want it to be about - for me, it's opening up my eyes a bit more, and looking around, and sharing some of what I come across from day to day.

it sure as **** isn't about bagging other people for liking - or doing - things with their photos, or using subject matter that doesn't appeal to me, or which I reckon is over done.

that's just pretentious, self centred, and ****house, to be blunt.

so yeah, screw 'em.

Thought I'd join in here as I'm going to attempt to get through the 366 this year. I did initially start as a January photo a day but I thought I'd just keep on with it and see if I can keep it up. I'm mypinkwagon if anyone wants to add me and I'll add you back

Had a quick nosy for that discussion and while I didn't read all of it, I think it's pretty standard among photo forums. Things can get pretty heated and colourful to say the least! There is always going to be a critic because you can't please everyone so just let it run off your back.

I am just wondering, I wanted to put some of my photos into the Themes and competitions and I have no idea how to. I have had a quick search and look around and can't seem to find out what I need to do to enter them. Does anyone know how to do it?

I was like that at times. Especially in winter. I tried to get spider webs, flowers, some cool leaves, etc. Even grass with water droplets on it after it rained (or morning dew). If you're crafty take a picture of your current project or the finish product.

I'm going fairly well too with getting my photos. I have cheated once and used an old photo one day when I didn't take any pics! But other than that I am getting to know my camera better and I'm getting a bit creative when I get the chance to take my time and try new things!

I am getting hard pressed to find stuff to take pics off. I don't get out of the house much.

Pets, kids, yourself, something you've cooked/are eating, your garden, your home, your favourite things (shoes, perfume, foods, books...), interesting things outdoors (insects, flowers, trees, birds...), clouds/weather (rain, sunshine, puddles, shadows...)

If you want to put your photo in a thread: Have a look at the right hand side of the photo you want to post and scroll down a bit, there will be a little box with a code in it and says "share" above it. Copy and paste that code into the reply box of the thread. Hope that makes sense and is what you were asking Some of the themes just have word that you add as a tag when you upload your photo.

I'm really enjoying seeing everyones pics and hope you're all having fun with it

Astrolady, I get what you mean about running out of ideas. My project is just of DD, so I've had to try and be creative with her and not just take the same thing every day. Which is hard when I'm so busy!

Hi All

I have just started this project and so far am excited! But I am no computer whiz so haven't been doing any editing of my photos, what you see is what you get! Any recommendations for easy to use photo editing programs?

Also am trying to put the 365 project in my signature but I can only seem to be able to copy and paste the individual link for each individual photo and of course that is too big for my signature. So what am I doing wrong?? Told you I was no computer whiz!

Hi Ang, I am doing the 365project too. I have just looked at your picceis and followed you!
I am a total novice when it comes to photography too and the editing tool I use is called picmonkey I have tried using photo shop, and you can do some great things with it, but picmonkey is really basic, simple and easy to use.

Hey 3LM - Thanks for the follow! I have used picmonkey once when in a rush, I might try and give it another go...it's all about finding the time to do it isn't it?
