Just letting you all know I am still here! Well still doing the 365 anyway, I haven't been in here for ages. I'm going on holidays next week so I can't wait to add some interesting and colourful photos to my 365! Ok I'm off to catch up and upload my photos for the last week :)
Hi Danielle, there are so many good photographers to follow on 365. I found some awesome photographers by looking at the popular and new faces pages. Just looking at my home page now, some interesting ones are mimo (random street portraiture in various parts of Asia), Helene (for a little taste of Parisian life), umm.. lots more but they're not on my home page right now but I'll think of them soon and let you know. But the best way is to just browse the popular, new faces or most recent pages, and follow the ones that stand out for you.:

How's everyone doin'?
I'm still taking photos (most of which seem to revolve around sewing cause that's what I'm doing alot lately) and trying to catch up on the uploading so nothing new really. :p
yeah - I had a few weeks where I kept getting behind. man it gets harder to catch-up doesn't. I think I came as close to wanting to stop as I ever have. But I'm back on track now.
I do hate days where I'm really not happy with the pic I have to put up, but it's late and I just can't be bothered to take more lol.
I hate those days too. More often then not lately I'm just going "Oh that'll do" for my photos. I'll just blame winter... cause it's ...er... cold. :p
Yep, same, I hate the days when I am at work as I always have to take photos in artificial light as by the time I get home its dark!! But still going strong too :)
I finally got all of June uploaded, now I'm only 9 days behind... so far. :P
I am out! Got an email from the 365 canceling my account coz I hadn't logged on for ages! Oooops!

I well and truly lost my mojo while we were packing up to leave and I've been feeling really uninspired, but I'm trying to get back into it. We only have a netbook and an iPad with us so no worthwhile editing software is driving me nuts. I think I've talked DH into getting a better computer while we're on our travels, especially if I decide to do the diploma, but in the meantime I got my dad to put photoshop elements on his computer today so I really hope that'll get me back on track for now.
Elements works for me.... I just never get much of a chance to sit in front of it!
I'm still doing my course, but struggling a bit to find time for that St the moment.... Dh has been away a lot lately, and going again Monday.... Sigh!

SOOOOOOO today i went to Clive Peeters closing down sale and bought myself a new camera :dance:

It's not the lovely HUGE DSLR i'd like but i've resigned myself to the fact that just isn't going to happen, the best part this beauty is normally $250 and i got her for $174!
I am so excited, also picked up a Lumix S1 for MIL for her b'day tomorrow for get this $88. she doesn't need anything special but $88 with 12.1MP and 4x OZ who can complain.. thats better than my old CS and half the price.
I was so excited to have finally caught up with my uploading the other day. :hooray: I'm 3 days behind now but that's only small compared to the month I was before. LOL!!!

Hi girls, hope it's ok if i join in here. I just decided to start the 365 project yesterday! I am borrowing a camera from MIL that never gets used to try and learn a bit about using all the settings properly and start taking some awesome photos! I had a real crisis of continuation tonight. I was so seriously thinking of giving my 365 project up. I felt I was doing it for the wrong reasons, and it's just another chore right now.
Anyone else struggling with that?

Yes, I agree with you belfie, I'm just about still going but some days it definitely feels like a chore. I know it's a bit lame, but i think that when we were all on there commenting on each others pics all the time i was a bit more motivated. I don't know if that's something i should be admitting though... I'm sure you're supposed to do these things for yourself and all that! But having positive feedback does help on the motivation front :) When I was in Sydney I felt like i had coutless subjects too, whereas here in remotest deepest darkest Hampshire I have to look for my shots a bit more. And I've also started doing the photography institute diploma, so I often feel that my photography time should be spent on that, or photos for my blog which one day might actually have the capacity to make me some money. Sigh!
Feeling like a chore lately too. I was doing okay a couple of weeks ago but then I've got a lot more on my mind at the moment. Anyways, I'm hoping catching up on my uploading and getting on top of that little aspect of things might help, and one less thing to think about... right?

Oh I know exactly what you mean! That's what I was feeling too! So I felt I was doing it for the wrong reasons if it is not for my own creativity but rather for praise & feedback. And while DH is sick he's really not taking much interest. But intriguingly when I said I was stopping, he got quite het up. So I've just done a big catch-up lol. I think it also pee's me off when friends say "oh I liked that pic on fb" and I think couldn't you comment? click "like"? It's not that hard! I will also confess that when I see a shot has been viewed many times but there are no comments at all, it is rather dispiriting! But DH when he was encouraging me was saying that we'll make a wonderful book of the shots and love looking at them over the years - and that is more important. Which is probably true, but it's sometimes hard to remember that late at night when you're catching up lots of pics!:
But when I read what you said it made me realise that we all need some encouragement, especially now we've been going for a while. So I'm going to make more effort to comment on both your shots - cos really we should be so proud of ourselves for getting this far. :grouphug:
