The first one was very very laid back. The announcement was made that it was going to be an engagement party at a club & that was it. About 1.5 hours into in the bride disappeared, we told everyone her nephew was sick, because both her, the sister & the nephew left. What actually happened was they were getting changed because they were having a surprise wedding. So for the start it was just hanging out with everyone, I worked with the couple so I knew most of the people there & they were happy for me to take photos thinking nothing of it, no stress there. After that I had to take the official ones & that was a bit scary! This was before I had the digital, so I had my Canon & dad's Nikon, one with B&W film & the other with colour, alternating them throughout the night. Everything turned out really well though.

The second one was another friend from the same workplace about 6 months later. I was in addition to their official photographer as i took photos & made up a slide show that was presented, along with old photos of the couple, during the reception. The worst part with that one was that it was a Sunday breakfast wedding, I had to be there at 7am after going to a very close friend's wedding the night before!!
