    Cameras

I would like to get a new digital camera. What can you recommend?

Problems i have with my current one are that if i don't use the flash indoors no matter how much light there is the picture will be grainy. But if i use the flash it reflex off everything light and white and makes the whole picture very bright. Also if i put the setting on anything but auto it will look grainy, dull and fuzzy. But auto works fine

I'm into taking all sorts of photos from the kids to landscapes. So i need something that is good for everything.

Needs to have black and white and sepia options.

Price is not a worry. I will pay for quality.

You can sacrifice the need for BW and sepia options for something that has a better quality lens. It takes seconds to convert it in photoshop. There are also more important things than megapixel size such as the quality of the sensor, shutter lag, optical zoom etc. All of which can affect the look of your photos.

I really don't know much about digital point and shoot cameras. Ours is a chep Casio one and it takes awesome photos. If money is no object then a DSLR camera and the right lens will give you fantstic results indoors with no flash but be warned...they are a huge learning curve!

I would say to go into a specialist camera shop and talk to someone that has a clue such as Teds camera or Camera House.

Sounds like the ISO is too high... anyway.

I think once you know what budget and a few other things you would like your camera to have and a few things you don't need it can narrow the selection a lot.

Honestly, i don't know what i want! I just wish any camera i buy would take quaility photos. They all seem to be grainy without flash and way too bright with flash.
