I had a 35mm f/1.8 and LOVED it but have to sell it now because I just upgraded and it doesn't work with my new camera. Now I have a 50mm f/1.4, it's AWESOME!

I have a 18-55mm that came with my camera too, but when I got my camera package I got a Tamron Macro 180-300mm lens - love love love it
Great for those macro nature shots, but I also find it handy to take natural photos from afar of my toddler with his knowledge, best way to take candid natural photos of busy little people
My next lens will be a 50mm - I'd love a f/1.2 but will probably settle for a 1.4 unless I win the lotto

For portraits. I only really take pics of people anyway, and mainly my kids so it was great!

hi i got myself a nikon d7000 have 3 lenses a 18-105mm a 55-300mm and just got a Tokina AF 11-16mm f/2.8
