The local shire is running an art comp and the 'theme' is 'PORTRAIT'

As per the local paper: "the artwork can be anything, it just has to be up and down (portrait shape), so the creativity can be just endless for that"

What would you take from that, i personally think of a portrait as a picture of a person.

The 'art work' has to be postcard sized.

Would landscape or nature photography fit this category?
