I thought portrait means people, that pic would be landscape? anyway, maybe you can do like a photo of a person's shadow or use light and shade on a person?
I read the paper entry as anything that is portrait shaped (which your linked photo is). Portrait the word, can mean both of a person or describe paper orientation - e.g. when you print anything you choose the orientation of the paper as either "Portrait" or "Landscape" - it is a bit confusing but the paper orientation words probably came from fact that portraits of people were normally done with the paper height greater than width, and landscapes/scenery with the width greater than height. If the paper didn't use the words "it just has to be up and down (portrait shape)" then I would have assumed portrait of a person etc but it seems that is far more open than that and can be anything on a portrait orientation postcard size.

I don't sell anything, but I do get some of my photos/artwork printed as postcards/cards via Zazzle (with Zazzle you don't have to order multiples of the same image to get the bulk discounts) to send to people for all sorts of occasions - is cheaper than having to buy cards all the time especially if you buy when Zazzle (or Snapfish whoever) are doing a discount - and that way people get to see your pics, and I get lots of nice comments from people about the photo/artwork. The hard bit is remembering who you have sent which design to previously! Is a nice way of sharing your hobby (Zazzle lets you design back of postcard/card so you can put text so people know is your own work).
