Hi Lulu, so sorry you are having to go through this early pregnancy stage without the support of your friends and family. I don't have any personal experience to share with you, however I wanted to tell you about a lovely family that we're friends with. Their eldest child, a gorgeous girl, has global delay and is a great mystery to her doctors. She is lovely, but requires a lot of assistance for day to day living. Naturally, they were anxious about how their next child would be, whether he would have similar health problems. He is now three years old and is a picture of health - a cheeky, intelligent and affectionate little boy.
It was actually difficult at first seeing how 'normal' he was, knowing that he would overtake his older sister in their developmental milestones, however he is very understanding, protective and considerate of her in a way that I think is unique to those who have a family member with special needs.
I wish you all the very best for the rest of your pregnancy. I pray that everything goes wonderfully well for you.
