Smile Can I share a photo????

It is almost Kane's 2nd birthday!!!!!

It's been a long journey so far, with a fair bit to travel yet. And I have been looking over his photos a lot lately.

He is such a special little boy. So happy, always smiling, with just amazing eyes.
Here is one of the last photos taken before his first surgery. I couldn't stop crying enough to take him in to theatre myself, so a nurse took him. I will always regret that. But I was just as bad the next time too!!

I cried for most of my pregnancy, worried of his looks, but he is just wonderful, little scar and all!!!! I couldn't imagine him any other way!!!!

Honestly, when I first saw his lip, I imagined there would be quite a visable scar (as my uncle has from his cleft op) but in his (i think) 20 month photo - you can hardly tell!! I really do think he looks fantastic - especially those big blue eyes! I wouldnt be concerned about his looks as he get older at all, the surgeons have done a fantastic job.
