    Has anyone considered....

Please tell me to bugger off if I am out of line here....
I dont have a child with special needs, but some of my friends do.
I was wondering if any of you know of an organisation called Riding for the disabled?
I work in the horse industry, and have had dealings with this group.
They do amazing things for people with physical and intellectual disabilities.
RIding is wonderful therapy, great for balance and co ordination and really good for self confidence.
Just thought I would throw it out there in case anyone didnt know about it.
They have centres all over the place and being a charitable type organisation, I dont think it is hugely expensive.
Sorry for being nosy, was just a thought....

Shells - I work for a Credit Union and we have a very large involvement with our community. I can fully second the work of Riding for Disabled. They do amazing things for people with special needs and they are a wonderful charity. I donate to them every year!

    HI Shell,

My BIL has DS and he loves the horses!
They do great work and it's great for the kids to feel a little independence
