My SOn got circumsised when he was 6 weeks old - since then his doodle has always gone back inside himself - it comes out when he gets and errection and that is about it - i have asked the health nurse and the Dr that done the circumsision and they said they thought he would grow out of it - he is a fairly chubby little boy and we just put it down to that and the fact that it might be a small doodle ( poor boy!!!) but i took him to the A & E today because he had a very sore doodle and the DR and A&E said he had thrush -- but he told me i should go get his doodle checked out because he has never seen that before! - has anyone else ever seen anything like this?? any advice would be good>
Do you mean that it looks really small? Not hard, but push on the area around his penis, does it come out more? It is does, he may just have a "fat pack" around it that's hiding it a little. One of the boys in my mum's group had that. The mum was told that the baby fat would go away by the time he's 3, if not they could do a sort of liposuction thing to get rid of it.
I saw it with the baby of a friend of mine and he was just vbery chubby in that area too and he was also circ. I don't think that being circ was the cause of the problem or anything, but you noticed it more how far in it was.
its called a blinded penis. Very common and they tell me that boys grow out of it- otherwise they can do lipo on it.
speak to GP about it.
they can check his size etc against charts to make sure that it is in the 'normal ' range, otherwise he can have testerone shots which make it grow, or he can have the chordal muscle cut which brings it out of the body more

Lachlan's isn't in on itself, but it is very small alot smaller than Kam's at same age and he is also chubby down there as well. We actually have to see a paed this november about his sacral dimple so i will be mentioning it to him then now that he is 3 to see if it is okay/normal.
Imran had a fat pack too but he's growing out of it a bit.
That said I think he will always be smaller than Yasin - I hope he never gets a complex about it....
