Well we had our physio appointment yesterday where we got an 'official' diagnosis for Jazzy's lumpy-bumpy head.

I've got some stretch exercises to do with her, along with what we've been doing which is sitting in her Bumbo and lots of tummy time to minimise the amount of time she lays on her head. Since we started co-sleeping again her head has seemed to improve a fair bit (I lay on the left so she generally turns her head to me to feed and ends up asleep that way).

We were asked if we would consider a helmet, apparently the physio thinks it would help Jazz a lot and prevent any facial deformities (nothing really effected yet, except her ear is being pushed forward), we have another appointment in 4 weeks, but we need to get back to here ASAP as we'll need the referral, getting in can take some time, and it would be best if we got in before she was 6 months, so we're on a pretty tight schedule. We're going to get the referral, as we don't want to be 5 years down the track and Jazz have any possible effects show up once its too late to fix it (can effect chewing and jaw alignment, plus cosmetically).

Any one else in the same boat? How do your kids handle the helmet? How long did/do yours have to wear it for? The physio said it can be weeks to months, but usually not after they turn 1yo.

TIA.
