the boot thingos are pretty awesome and they are so much freedom after the casts....the kids love them! if you get some baby dunlop volleys they even fit over them so they can look super fly

they also find walking in the boots really fun...freedom!

Today he had his cast changed. He was running around in the first one.. now is back to walking as he adjusts to his new smaller cast. We go back in 4 weeks to have his brace/boot fitted.

I'm a bit concerned that this next baby is going to be born in the midst of all this foot stuff though.... our follow up after brace fitting is 6wks after fitting. I'll be 40 weeks pg. Or have a very fresh little one in my arms. I hope baby comes sooner rather than later. Really not keen on traveling 2hrs plus with a baby so new.... or being too far from home if I'm over-ripe!
