At that age, DD would have a feed in bed with me first, then breakfast about and hour or so later.
Small portions, more often, and alternate them with BM, but avoid giving her a feed BEFORE a main meal. Offer the breast after the meal if she is done eating (not necessarily finishing the portion, but finished eating itms).

But they don't eat much anyway... You will find she will have days or even meals, where she eats like a horse, only to pick like a bird the next day. Don't stress - so long as the nappies are consistent and she isn't dropping weight, all is well and she will not let herself starve. You are doing fine

It's not a line in the sand, it's just a rough guideline. Some kids will make the swtich earlier, some later.
DS was 14-15 months when he relly started to make that switch, after I night weaned (I think he was filling up in the night, mind you he would have bananas in stead for a while....)

Her nappies are always nice and wet. No worries there.

However she is hugely constipated. Doesn't go for days and when she does there is a massive screaming match which results in a few little solid nuggets. My GP is hopeless so I am going to my old Dr (the one I saw before we moved and when I was pregnant). I want her checked out properly. Her constipation is a problem and I also wonder if she's eating little because she knows her tummy will be sore. Dunno.
