oh apparently i am a bad parent for giving my son things he can choke on. Banana and toast are bad, broccoli is worse and OMG YOU GAVE HIM CARROT! Ahh yes I did ***** now get lost! All this while he was sitting there eating from his lunch box today, perfectly happy, not gagging once.

The only food he has choked on was the yogurt I was feeding him myself! That he spluttered and coughed over.

haha Missy Mel - I toook DD for her 6 month check up yesterday and they asked how she was going - I said good, good, she's on solids - they said, how is she going - and I said good.

I just don't offer up the information if they don't ask for it. And I'm too big and ugly for people to argue with me face to face

    lol

we gave her a rusk the other day cause anything and everything goes in her mouth these days and she is starting to teeth - she loved it - munched all the way thru it!!!! thank god i was sitting with her watching - gave me a bit of a fright to see the top of it missing!

HJ - there are a few signs that they are ready for solids - watching you might be one of them, but they might just be imitating you ya know? Does she still have the tounge pushing out thing going on? Can she sit up - supported?
