I found baked potato chips easier for them at that age than mash. Cut your potato into sticks and drizzle with some oil and put them in the oven at about 190C... They can hold them, they are still soft enough to eat and they are easy for them to eat - and no cleaning up crusty mash of the floor! lol

With potato I have been cutting an edge off and microwaving it. It keeps its shape that way too.

Emily had broccoli, baby corn, and tomato... same old. She also had a prune tonight! She has been getting a little blocked so i thought a prune might help, she certainly enjoyed it even if it doesn't move things along!

Have you ladies noticed food in bubs mouths well after you gave it to them? I keep finding bits stuck to the roof of DDs mouth. I get worried that she may choke on these bits when she is lying down.

Has anyone tried fish fingers? They might be a good one.

Yes I find things stuck to Ashtons mouth all the time. I just scoop it out or push it down so he can finish it off lol

Are you giving her water or milk or anything with her meals? I found that if charlotte has enough to drink while eating she doesnt get bits stuck in her mouth.

Fish fingers - yes, she loved them ... Then next time not so much lol I just get snapper fillets now, or whiting, and she will eat that quite happily - and it is better than processed fish fingers. Making your own fish fingers is really easy too.
