    As someone who has gone from a plain boring maiden name to a married name I have to repronounce and spell all the time... different is not always good.

    But I really like Jed, short for Jedediah, meaning "Friend of God"

    i like Jed shirt for Jedidiah and thats what i think he would get misspronunced with all the time.

    It looks like Jade with the "e" missing. We affectionately call a friend "Jad Jad" but I'm sorry I think it's part of a name.

    I don't like it either, sorry. It looks like an incomplete name. I also agree that it could be mistaken for Chad when said aloud.
