    Baby Boy's Name - Help!

So my partner has one name that he absolutely loves and is proving difficult to compromise on.

He loves the name Noel, I actually don't mind the name but am concerned as our baby's due date is 28th December. I'm worried that it's going to be confused with No-elle, especially with all the christmas gear with it written on it!

    What do you guys think?

    I see your point...

What about Noah? I think that is similar and a gorgeous name too!

I like Noah too! My favourite is August, I told my partner - his response "but he's due in december?"

I think I'm going to have to stick to my guns on the name thing, I have a feeling he might be willing to compromise after the labour!

If that is your surname in your ticker, i think the two names together are a bit of a mouthful (noel not august) i find them hard to say together.

I actualy really like it. Whatever name you have somebody will always mis-spell or mispronounce it! Good luck... not long now!!!

Does your DH like the name Joel? Less chance of the Christmas link but a similar strong name

My sons name is Noah and I have to say obviously have a strong preference for that Similar to Noel but different enough to not have the holiday connotation Although at least he has a song with his name in it
