    Quinn - for a girl?

I am LOVING the name Quinn for a girl. I know it's not very "girly" as such but I think it would be absolutely gorgeous on a girl. It is Celtic meaning "wise" and is widely accepted as a unisex name.

What would you pair it with as a middle name? I can't think of anything!

Perhaps it's because it's only one syllable? What are some girl names that would have Quinn as a shortened version?

Yeah I think Quinn is Daria's sister on the ABC show Daria. I love that show.

    Like the name too!

Love it Love it!!! I think it's very pretty and stylish - pair it with a slightly more feminine middle name to make it girlier but it's soooo nice!

    Quinn Alice
    Quinn Elise
    Quinn Jasmine
    Quinn Dakota
    Quinn Maddison

    Just a few ideas!

I like the idea of pairing it with something girly and pretty (I love pretty names!) but I just can't seem to find any that fits with such a short name...

I like the sound of Quinn Elise but I'm not a huge fan of the name Elise.

Does anyone have some suggestions of a name that flows similar to that?

I did a search and these were the ones I liked...

    Quinn Matisse
    Quinn Alexis/Alexa
Quinn Harper (but doesn't go with our surname)
    Quinn Maia
    Quinn Riley

None of them are really standing out though - suggestions please!!!!

I'm not normally into unisex names - but I love Quinn for a girl - more so than a boy.
I think you'd need at least a 2 syl midd name:

    Quinn Lily
    Quinn Shayla
    Quinn Melody
    Quinn Tiahn
    Quinn Mayah

I still LOVE this name - it's probably my favourite but DH can't get over the fact that traditionally it is a boys name!

    The combinations I like are...

    Quinn Violet
Quinn Matisse (I won't steal the name Kitt3n but I do love it!!!!)
    Quinn Elise
    Quinn Marie
    Quinn Scarlett
Quinn Sage (I'm not usually a fan of two one syllable names but I think this one goes well)
    Quinn Riley
    Quinn Alexis

I love the name Quinn. We are also expecting a girl and plan to use the name but are having a difficult time pairing it with a middle name. Our last name is Ira, so names ending in an "a" don't really flow well. I think middle names that start with a vowel sound better. The combinations we are considering are:

    Quinn Avery
    Quinn Ainsley
    Quinn Danielle

Other combinations I like but not with our last name are:

    Quinn Elise (DD#1 mn)
    Quinn Alexandra

    Good luck with the decision!
