    Baby names issue????? Opinions please!

We had pretty much decided (after lots of disagreeing!) on:

    Amali Noa for a girl
    and
    Charlie Jett for a boy,

    BUT.......

Our gorgeous DD (who is 4 by the way!) has decided that we can't possibly use either of these because she has a friend who's lil sis is called Amali (I have already told this girls mum, who is a friend, that we love Amali as a name, and she has no probs with us using it), and DD'S BF just had a little baby sister called Charli (Or Charli Wali according to dd!), and she told me in no uncertain terms "that you can't choose someone else's name mummy!"

What do you guys think about these names? And how do I convince DD it is okay?
(I was really set on these names, and was starting to think of the bub as Amali or Charlie!)

Plus, my DD is Tahlia and I thought the combinations sounded great:

    Tahlia & Amali
    or
    Tahlia & Charlie

I think both names sound great! If it was me I'd go ahead with them anyway, I'm sure your DD won't be worried once her brother or sister is here

Your DD will forget she ever said that once bubs arrives. Just tell her that you've spoken to the mum and you can use a name twice. Give her example's of people with the same names. My DD is 10 and really wanted name input, but I had to tell her she can choose her kids names, this is my choice!! xoxo

I agree with pp - stick with the names! They sound great together. Maybe try to explain to your DD that there are other little girl's with her name out there too! She will get over it quickly when her little brother or sister is here (she'll have a lot of other things to focus on!)
