Ooooh I like it!! I like it a lot and I'll bet DH will too.. Thank you!

I suggested Eliana to DH last night as I loved it when I said it out loud but no go He said "What if she's fat? She'll get called Ellie the Elephant!". Pity, its a beautiful name but I know he won't budge!

It's a shame you can't use Chloe Elizabeth...

How do you both feel about just using something similar?
Clover Elise? Clover Buckland sounds cute.

I think Isabella Chloe might be a good compromise if you can't find something else you love to bits.

Is your cousin Chloe your age? i am struggling to understand why your fmaily think it is such a problem? Why can't she be her namesake? What does it matter if there are two Chloe's 20 years apart in a family. (or 20days for that matter. ) If you really love it, i'd just use it. Why not ask your cousin?

My cousin is 13 and I don't understand it any more than you do to be honest Junglemum, but it kicked off. The thing is, its not like it would even be naming our bub after her - we just love the name Chloe! I remember when my aunt had my cousin - I was devastated she called her Chloe because even way back then I thought of it as 'my' name lol.

I'd just use it, they'll get over it! It's a lovely name.

Me too. Stuff them, its a name they dont own it.
This is your baby, no one elses.

Sorry, this is something I am pretty passionate about. Most people would be honoured, or have it as tradition to reuse names within a family.
We have 3 Michael's, a Michelle and a Michaela (and 2 of them are siblings), and lots of names where there are at least 2 in the same generation.

Isabella Jane is about the only one I can think of. I prefer Chloe Elizabeth though
