not sure if its common or not but what about Caden? I liked this name when we were talking boys names.
A friend of mine has a Kade with a K instead of C.
Cadence i think more of a girls name.

    Z names maybe:
    Zyder
    Zayden
    Zen

I think Cadence is a girls name, but really like the suggestion of Caden for a boy!

Z names - I like Zimmer and Zane

Yeah definitely what the others have said re: cadence being girly.

We were going to name our last bub Zephryn if she was a boy - cos we liked Z names too.

    Thanks guys!
Zephryn is another on our list actually! Along with Zabian & Zenth, Zennon, Zenikai.
    So far we have:

    Madden/ Mannon/ Mannix
    Alakai/ Arlen
    Tallix/ Tannix/ Tanner
    Jakai
    Kaizen or Caizen
    Astah/ Aster

I just keep throwing in changes to the same kinda names heheh but it's so hard! What do you think of any of those names... good or bad, I wanna hear it all

I'm not that keen on any of them unfortunately - but that doesn't mean they aren't great names, if you like them thats all that matters!!

I'm all for unusual names - you should see some of the ones I've put out there on the baby name threads - especially when we were tossing up names for the last bub

    I'd personally say girl.

    Kade/Cadel/Caden are more masculine IMHO.

    Good luck!

i like Zephryn! He could get Zeph or Ryn for short which both sound good.
you also have to think about what names will be shortened to, cause even if you dont others will and if u do/dont like the shortened version it may make a difference to your choice.
i think Jakai would get shortened to Jack and thats super common so if ur not wanting a common name i wouldnt go with that.
Im like you, i like uncommon names but not too out there, my boys are Nixon & Tyron.
Another name i like is: Ezekiel

Cadence is definately a girls name for me
I used to teach a Cadence, & she was very girly girl..... and in terms of music as well, a cadence is a 'Perfect end piece' (of a song or section of a song)... like the 'A - Men' in a hymn... just in case you were interested!

Luke had a little boy Cade in his soccer team a few years back - he was a cute kid, very much a boy, so that feels masculine for me, too

Lots of choices you guys have got happening - OMG DH & I would have killed each other with that much choice

I guess one good thing about 7+yrs of TTC is that there was many years to sift through ideas

Whatever you pick will be perfect

... yeh another vote that Cadence is feminine

Arimeh- Thanks, I've been going through the names section trying to keep my eye out for names I like! And all over the internet!
Definately thinking about what names will be shortened to.. I was thinking with Jakai we could call him Kai.. but it's not top of our list anyway!
As for Caden... Im up in the air about it cos it's a name I've heard around a bit.
    Will have to keep looking!

Cadence - definitley a girl name, but I love the suggestion of Caden.

Off your list I like Tanner and Arlen, not too keen on any of the others but I'm not into different names, I like more traditional names.
