    Can I do this ?

    Can I name my son Phoenix when our surname begins with 'F' ??

    I love the name but can not decide whether it sounds cool or cruel ??

    The surname is german. Think Hitler !

    Ok so being what i think your hinting your surname is, it is a flowing name.... I like it but id possibly add JAMES as his second name so then he is "Phoenix James" and can be called PJ by his peers...

    I think as an adult name for a male it is strong, masculine yet quite funky and if he ever were to enter into a career of entertainment, which ever field he would have a perfect name for it

    Over all.. i reckon a thumbs up!!! even without my suggestion of the middle name...

    Rainforest, i am only presuming from the clues she has given it is Fitler.. that was my assumption, could be totally wrong but that is what i got from the above bolded and underlined clues and what i based my opinion of the name HTH

    I ofcourse could be TOTALLY wrong, lol but i still like my idea of James so he can have PJ!

    I love the name Phoenix When i read your clue to your surname, i first thought of FIFENHEIMER, you said german and hitler, lol.

    So even Phoenix Fifenheimer flows i think.

    LOL my surname clue must have been too obsecure - Sorry ladies and geez your interpretations gave me a good belly laugh none the less.

    I like the PJ abbreviation too - I hadn't thought of that.

    Clue #2 - Hilton was also known as The 'F........."
